Overview
This 6-day tour explores the scenic landscapes, waterfalls, caves, rivers and unique trekking trails of Meghalaya. You will start from Guwahati and travel through Shillong, Cherrapunjee (Sohra), Shnongpdeng and back. The journey includes a walk through forests, waterfall viewpoints, trekking to the double-decker living root bridge and the adventurous Mawryngkhang Bamboo Trek — one of the most thrilling trails in the state. The trip also includes visits to pristine rivers and cultural landscapes, offering both nature and adventure experiences.
• Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station.
• Drive to Shillong (approx. 3 hours).
• En route visit Umiam Lake for scenic views.
• Check-in to hotel and rest or explore the local market.
• Overnight stay in Shillong.
• After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunjee (Sohra).
• Visit Mawsmai Caves, Dympep View Point, Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls viewpoints.
• Enjoy panoramic landscapes and natural attractions.
• Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
• Depart early to Wahkhen Village for the Mawryngkhang Trek — a thrilling bamboo trail through forests and over ridges to the scenic U Mawryngkhang rock.

• Return from trek and have some leisure time in Cherrapunjee.
• Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
• Travel to Shnongpdeng, famous for the Umngot River, known for its clear water where boats seem to float on air.
• Optional time by the river for relaxation or boat rides.
• Later visit the trail toward the Double Decker Living Root Bridge — descending several steps into the rainforest.
• Return to your stay near Dawki/Shnongpdeng for overnight
• After breakfast, visit Krang Suri Waterfalls in Jowai known for its striking blue waters and scenic setting.
• Drive back towards Shillong with short stops for photos and local views.

• Breakfast and check-out.
• Transfer to Guwahati airport or railway station for your onward journey.
